His children, Rod and Sunshine Ray, took over the company in 2018 and have carried those values forward while expanding what the business is capable of. Sunshine, who earned a degree in business marketing from UNLV, oversees operations and has driven the company's growth as a technology leader in the Las Vegas plumbing industry. Under her leadership, Atlas Plumbing became one of the first companies in the region to offer services like trenchless repiping, mechanical pipeline descaling, and pipe bursting at scale.
Rod is a third-generation plumber who grew up learning the trade alongside his father and grandfather, both of whom were plumbing tradesmen in Las Vegas. He has spent his career not just performing the work but understanding the systems beneath this city, how they were built, how they age, and what they need to keep running.
